- Copy it from Titan Email Control Panel (see below)
Host: Copy the DNS Host Name shown with your DKIM record in the Titan Email Control Panel.
Where to find your value

- After adding the record, select I've added TXT records in my DNS control panel and click Verify changes.
- Titan doesn't allow more than one DKIM TXT value under the same selector.
- A new DKIM record can take up to 6 hours to propagate.
In DreamHost

- Hover over the TXT section and click ADD.
- Fill in Host (leave it blank for your bare domain) and TXT Value.

Once the records are saved, run a live check. We look up your domain in public DNS and tell you what is right, missing or wrong, with the fix in DreamHost’s words.
Common mistakes with Titan Email on DreamHost
Adding records where DNS isn't managed
Records must go in the authoritative DNS zone, which may be different from where you bought the domain.
Two DKIM values under one selector
Titan rejects more than one TXT value under the same DKIM selector. Paste exactly the value from the control panel.
DreamHost: Custom MX turns off DreamHost email
Once custom MX records are added, email is no longer delivered to DreamHost and the domain's DreamHost mailboxes are deactivated.
Titan Email on DreamHost: questions
Where do I add Titan Email DNS records in DreamHost?
In the DreamHost panel, go to Manage Websites. Select the three-dot button under your domain, then DNS Settings. Add each record there, one at a time.
What goes in the Host field at DreamHost?
Leave it empty for records on your bare domain, such as MX and SPF. For the others, enter only the part before your domain, for example _dmarc. DreamHost adds your domain automatically.
Do I need to delete my existing MX records at DreamHost?
Yes. Sending servers pick an MX record by its priority (lowest number first) and fall back to the others, so a leftover MX record can receive some or all of your mail. Keep only the Titan Email MX records and delete the rest. Once custom MX records are added, email is no longer delivered to DreamHost and the domain's DreamHost mailboxes are deactivated.
How long until Titan Email works on DreamHost?
Titan says new MX and TXT records can take up to 6 hours to go live. Your domain shows as Verified in the Titan control panel once they do.
