Host Name: Copy the DNS Host Name shown with your DKIM record in the Titan Email Control Panel.
Where to find your value
In the Titan Email Control Panel, open the Email Reputation tab (or click the Improve Email Reputation banner). Under Add DKIM record, click Add and copy the TXT value.
- After adding the record, select I've added TXT records in my DNS control panel and click Verify changes.
- Titan doesn't allow more than one DKIM TXT value under the same selector.
- A new DKIM record can take up to 6 hours to propagate.
In Bluehost
- On the DNS tab, click + Add Record and select Single Record.
- Set Record Type to TXT and Refers to to Other Host.

Check your setup
Once the records are saved, run a live check. We look up your domain in public DNS and tell you what is right, missing or wrong, with the fix in Bluehost’s words.
Common mistakes with Titan Email on Bluehost
Adding records where DNS isn't managed
Records must go in the authoritative DNS zone, which may be different from where you bought the domain.
Two DKIM values under one selector
Titan rejects more than one TXT value under the same DKIM selector. Paste exactly the value from the control panel.
Bluehost: Replace Bluehost's default MX record
By default Bluehost's MX record points to your own domain, which delivers mail to Bluehost's local server. Change it to your provider's mail server.
Bluehost: Set email routing to Remote
If Bluehost doesn’t host your email, change the domain’s email routing setting to Remote. Otherwise Bluehost keeps treating mail for the domain as local.
Titan Email on Bluehost: questions
Where do I add Titan Email DNS records in Bluehost?
Log in to the Bluehost Portal and click Domains in the left-hand menu. Select your domain, then open the DNS tab. Add each record there, one at a time.
What goes in the Host Record field at Bluehost?
Enter @ for records on your bare domain, such as MX and SPF. For the others, enter _dmarc.
Do I need to delete my existing MX records at Bluehost?
Yes. Sending servers pick an MX record by its priority (lowest number first) and fall back to the others, so a leftover MX record can receive some or all of your mail. Keep only the Titan Email MX records and delete the rest. By default Bluehost's MX record points to your own domain, which delivers mail to Bluehost's local server. Change it to your provider's mail server. If Bluehost doesn’t host your email, change the domain’s email routing setting to Remote. Otherwise Bluehost keeps treating mail for the domain as local.
How long until Titan Email works on Bluehost?
Titan says new MX and TXT records can take up to 6 hours to go live. Your domain shows as Verified in the Titan control panel once they do. Bluehost says saved changes are processed in a few minutes but can take up to 8 hours to fully propagate, depending on caching and TTL.
